A blog called "The Playlist" has uploaded a number of mp3-collections called The Playlist Soundtrack Series. Volume 2 is called "If I were Jim Jarmusch", and includes music by artists whose music has been featured in Jarmusch's films, and tunes which The Playlist deems appropriately Jarmuschian.

"Jim Jarmusch's imaginary soundtrack involves a cross-country fishing trip with old childhood pals, Tom Waits, John Lurie and their taciturn chain-smoking companion, Jim Jarmusch."

Looks good!
I really like the care that Jarmusch carries in the music of his films...always something original!
Wu Tang Clan in Ghost Dog is magnificent.
Love John Lurie, Waits and Iggy Pop too...
...no Neil Young in the list...? Shocked

*I just realized that I still have lot of artists to discover Very Happy
